Create your first document

Create Your First Document

Getting started with your first document is easy! Before you begin, make sure you have:

  • At least one client

  • At least one document template

You can create these directly from your Dashboard or from their respective pages:

  • Clients: Go to the Clients page → click New Client

  • Templates: Go to the Templates page → click New Template


Creating the Document

Once you have at least one client and one template, you can create a document in two ways:

  1. From the Dashboard

    • Use the “Generate Document” buttons available on the Dashboard.
  2. From the Documents page

    • Go to Documents → click New Document

Generating Your Document

In the Generate New Document dialog:

  1. Select the client you want to create the document for

  2. Select the template you want to use

  3. Click Generate Document

Your new document will be created instantly and ready to edit, share, or send for signature.


Tips

  • Use placeholders in templates so you can populate the document with client's data in seconds

  • Make sure your clients and templates are up to date before generating documents

  • You can generate multiple documents from the same template for different clients

  • All documents are stored securely and encrypted in your account
